The sale will. be an inaugural one, as it is intended to hold periodical sales afc-the same place. -There are al» ready entered some valuablehorses besides vehiclet, harness ifep,' &c. There is no ' reason why these sales should not be entirely successful, and should attract aJarge number qfr buyers from all parts of the district. We do not know how oiten it is proposed to hold these special sales, but should imagine that- once a fortnight would not be too often for 'the requirements of this and the adjacent districts. We wish Mr Snelson succeps m his spirited venture, which is' one that should enlist tbo support of both the town and ; rural population. Entries for the sale will be received till the morning of Saturday, : but the sooner the catalogue is ; complete the better for the auctioneer and the public. The sala will commence at 1.30 p.m.
