The Wool Sales.
(BY ELECTRIC TEtiK&itAPH— COPYRIGHT.) (reuter's telegrams. ) London, Feb. 23. At to-day's wool sales, 12,200 bales were offered, making a total of 40,000 catalogued. Since the opening of the series, 13 JO bales have been withdrawn. Paces were firmly maintained. The total number of bales catalogued was 51,000, of which 2600 were withdrawn. The biddings were brisk and the prices firm, except for crossbred, ' which averaged from to id below December rates. French' manufacturers bought freely. ; '•■'■ ' '\
