By official announcement elsewhere it will be seen that a further sale of land m the Cape and Opunake Districts isi to behold on the 12th insti, when 23 sections w.ill be open for sale for cash, ; aY prices ranging from £1 ■ to JG# per acre. Application can be made at the office of the. Acting. Commissioner of Crown Lands,- W. H. Trimble, Esq., on and after Monday, the 12th inst. We, understand that the land is of first-rate ' quality, and suitable for all classes of settlers. . It is expected that lor each of the sections there will be considerable competition, and that more than one application will be lodged.
