Diamonds in Auckland.
IMPORTANT DISCOVERY. (by telegraph) . (XJNITEXt PRESS ABBOCIATION.) Auckland, Jan. 22. A settler named Archibald Douglas it is alleged has discovered diamonds near Auckland. He is in possession of some thirty stones possessing all the outward characteristics of diamonds, and which withstand the sulphuric acid test.
