LANDING OF THE GOVERNOR.
ENTHUSIASTIC! RECEPTION. (BY TELEGRAPH). (UNITED TBESS ASSOCIATION-) Wellington, This Day. There was a vast crowd to witness the official landing of His Excellency, and the city is en fete. The shipping and buildings were gaily decorated with bunting, and triumphal arches have been erected every, where. An address of welcome was presented, expressing feelings of loyalty and devotion. Addresses were also presented by the Beveral Friendly Societies. The demonstration was a complete success.
