Waste Lands Board.
The ordinary fortnightly meeting of the Wellington Waste Landi Board on Thursday aftornoon, and wad atten* ded'by Mr J. G. Houldsworth (Chairman), H. Bunny, T. Mason, M.H.R.," G. Beetham, H.H.R., and W. W. Taylor. The schedule of land sold since the previous meeting showed the area applied for to be 1210a. 2r. 3p., and the price realised £856 12s Bd. The Chairman read a memorandum he had * received Irom the Under Secretary of Crown L mda, as to the propriety of withdrawing from sale the sections of land m Miki Miki and Kopuaranga, proposed to be sold m February next, at Masterton, until such time as the line of railway is determined upon and the roads through the blocks m m a further state of advance. The aotion that was taken was approved . The request of Mr John Stubbs to have half of his section 1541, block V., Kairanga transferred to his brother, James Stubbs was agreed to on the usual conditions ; as also was an application on the part of Mr Albert h\ Weber to transfor his ! licence to occupy section 315, block 12, Mangahao, to Mr John M, Davie. The Board then adjourned, .
