-o~ „.. A third petition for dissolution of marriage will ,be heard at the next sitting.of the Wellington Divorce Court namely that of Maynard v. . Maynard and Hbri Mokai. The petitioner, John Maynard, a batcher residing at Gisborne, states that he married I Catherine Hoko, a widow, on the 25th | October, 1866, and there were issue of the marriage two children, both of whom I are now dead. Also, that on or about the sth Jane, 1877, and on other days between that date and the present time the respondent had committed adultery with the co-respanderit, Hori Mekai, a Maori, at Tologa Bay, and that she haa lired with him during the past four years, and had two children.
