A woman namei} - Mary Cameron M'Ptiail, 32 years of agt^ «r who for some time past has beetf"* engaged as housekeeper for Mr Cambelf, ■ manager of the Victorian Sugar , Refinery Company, Yarraville, on the 9th October rented a room m a horne 1 ' occupied by a woman named Harding iv Bussel street, stating that she was 'suffering from illness. The woman who ''appeared pregnant went 'out shortly afterwards, stating ' she ' was goin£ to Dr. Barker's close by tor a prescription. On her return she brought a bottle ofmedicine. On the following., morning she deliberately j amped twice down sereral steps from the kitchen jdoor jto the back yard, a depth ,of four feet, stating that it , would do i lier good.
