IN pursuance of the Acts of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled the "Regulation of Elections Act, 1858/' and the “ Provincial Elections Act/1858,” I, Stephen Lunn Muller, Returning Officer of the Electoral District of Wairau Valley aforesaid, DO HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, that by virtue of a Writ bearing date the Secoud Day of May, 1860, issued under the hand of his Honour the Superintendent of the Province of Marlborough aforesaid, an Election will be held for the Return of a qualified person to serve as a Member of the Provincial Council for the said Province for the said Electoral District; and that the NOMINATION of CANDIDATES will take place at the House of Mr. Charles Watts, Wairau-valley, on WEDNESDAY, the Sixteenth Day of May, 1860: And that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on THURSDAY, the Seventeenth day of May, 1860.
