Mr J. T. McCutcheon, the American caricaturist, has just been engaged by the New York Tribune on a three years' contract for " 20,000 dollars a year for drawing one cartoon a day. The pigskins so treated are stated 1o wear longer than rubber, and Mr Muir is said to have sold the American rights of his process for £1,000,000. An interesting decision has been given by Mr Barton, S.M., at Gisborne.
