MAXIMS FOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS.
Pass unto r others as you would th*y should pass unto yon. There's many a slip 'twixt the goal line and the try. Even the man who wears a red cap is expected to put his exalted'head'down in the scrummage. The biggest duffer sometimes scores the tries. Two hard-working, unselfish youngsters are worth a dozen lazy reps. Don't attempt to do all the specta tors tell you. They um. tli wtij, but some of their heads.are thick jjont stand with your hands in your pockets waiting for opportunities to display your wonderful talents. Bustle about. Don't wait for your speedier comrades to follow up; keep going yourself every time, and the selection committee will surely note. Don't lose your temper when the big full back bumps your head against the goal post. Smile pleasantly and say, "Well tackled, sir."
