WELLINGTON WOOL AND SKIN SALES.
Saturday's New Zealand Times says- - Murray, Roberts and Co. report . —We offered 65 bales .vool and 2000 sheepskins to-day. Prices ruled on a par •vith last sale's rates, with a lower tendency in inferior skins, and we sold the bulk of the offering. Wool was chiefly straggler's and fellmongers' lots. We quote ;—Wool —Crossbred medium 4d to 6d per lb ; crossbred dingy and cotted 3.|d to 4|d per lb ; crossbred, coarse, 4d to 4|d per. lb. lambs' wool', 3|d to 4fd perlb ; locks and pieces \±& to 2fd per lb. Skins, half-bred and merinos, none offering; crossbreds medium to fine 4d to 5d per lb ; crossbreds, coarse to medium 3f d to' crossbreds, short to half-woolled 3d* to 4Jd ; dead and h jggets 2|cl to 3|d ; lambs' skins 4d to 4fd per lb.
