Sir: I hear that the Motueka Cricket Association are talking of sending a representative team of cricketers from this side of the Bay to play a like team from the Nelson Town Clubs at some convenient time this season. If this is so, I should be pleased to see the Selection Committee get to work and pick two teams, say the “Possibles” and “Probables,” and let them play a match, the final selection being left till after this game. If this is done I am certain that, not only would the bestmen be picked but a team thoroughly representative, and one which could hold its own, would be chosen. I am, etc., Interested-
