Jackson and Co., in conjunction with- Messrs Abraham and Williams, report on their sale at Johnsonville on Tuesday last as follows :—There was an average entry of bullocks, the bulk of which were of good quality and the balance light and medium soots. Bidding was fairly brisk. We quote —Beef at 26s to 275, best bullocks .£lO 7s 6d to £lO 17s 6<l, others £9 10s to £lO. light steers L 7 17s6dto L 8 17s 6d. We had a heavy yarding of sheep, mostly local, which were easier all round. Best wethers fetched 14s 3d, others 12s sd, light 1 Is, prime ewes 11s 6d, others 11s, 9s 2d and 10s.
