NEW CREAMERY AT BROOKLYN
The new creamery which has been erected by Mr A Manoy on a section or land at Mr Fry’s corner, Brooklyn, was opened this morning. The separator, which is driven by a 4 h.p. engine and boiler, is one of the latest Alpha DeLaval pattern, capable of skimming 440 gallons per hour, which will enable the supplies of milk brought- in to be dealt with without delay. The building is a convenient one, and every attention has been paid to minor details in connection with the treatment jf the fresh milk. The creamery, which is to act as a feeder to the Riwaka Butter Factory, is to be open daily. It may interest our readers to learn that over 200 gallons were received this morning, and no doubt the supply will materially increase when settlers in the locality appreciate the advantages of having a creamery near at hand:
