A N Examination of Candidates for Certificates as Dredge-masters under “ The Mining Act Amendment Act, 1901 will be held on TUESDAY, tie 3rd February, 1903, at Grey mouth and Dunedin. All applications, with necessary certificates fee ©f £l, must be Secretary of the Board of s under the Mining Act, Wellington,” and must be received before the 2nd January, 1903, or they will not be dealt with until the following examination. Forms of application may be obtained from Inspector of Mines, Westpoxt and Dunedin. The attention of dredgemasters is called to Section 6 of •* The Mining Act Amendment Act, 1 902,” which extends the time for the issue of servdi§& certificate without examination. T. H.
