WELLINGTON WOOL SALES
Concerning the, wool sale* held at Wellington ,on Friday last, Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co. report V —We offered 12 bales wool and 4000 skins - In sympathy with the better tone in the; market reported at close of last London wool sales, prices, although hardly quotably higher than last sale, showed a hardening tendency. We quote prices as follows : —Wool—Crossbred medium 3f d to 4d lb; inferior and dingy, 3d to 3|d; pieces and crutchings l|d to Skins—Merinos and halfbreds 4|d to s|d lb ; fine crosssbred to good, 4d to 4|d ; coarse to medium 3f d to 4fd ; inferior and damaged 2gd to 3gd ; dead and hoggets 2fd to 4d ; lambs 3|d to 4|d.
