PING PONG.
A seven a side tmrnamerit Riwaka v. Motueka was played last night in the old Institute, when there was a very fair attendance of the public. The games were keenly contested, the result being in favor of Riwaka by 80 points. At the closr of the match the visitors were entertained with light refreshments and a pleasant, sociable evening was brought to a close about eleven o’clock. The scores were as follows :—Riwaka : M. Askew 210, Les Duncan 207, Chittenden 2C4, Cederman 172, Bindley 166, Rowling 159, Jenkins 146 ; total 1264. Motueka : Fraser 203, Bnundy 190, Jackson 184, Greensill ”169, Cbpptns 163, Fitzsimmons 155, Manoy 120; -otal 1184.
