The will of the late Mr David Cohen, of Sydney, Maitland, etc, has been proved in London, the estate being sworn at £210,000. Mr Cohen bequeeathed £2OOO to the West Maitland Synagogue, and £2OO to the West Maitland Hospital. The Dunedin Star, dealing with the Coronation honours, remarks “Mr Seddon’s turn has yet to come, and without venturing on prophecy, we hazard the opinion that it will be found before he sets sail for his ‘beloved country’ that he will receive some high appointment at the hands of Mr Chamberlain, and will be Mr Seddon no longer.” *** Subscription to MOTUEKA STAR:Three Shillings and Sixpence a Quarter which may begin any time
