JUNCTION HOTEL DESTROYED.

From a Correspondent. TAKAKA, This Day. The Junction Hotel was burned to the ground at 2 a.m. today. Very little was saved, the fire having a good hold of the building before it was discovered. Every assistance was given by the spectators but owing to the fierce heat tbeir efforts were frustrated. The insurances are /Norwich Union ,£450, New Zealand .£l5O. Mr James Reilly, the proprietor, is in New Plymouth."
