The Cornwall Family.

The talented and versatile Cornwall family of bellringers, comedians, vocalists, instrumentalists, eccentric terpsichoreans, and specialty artists, appear, for one night only, in the Institute . Hall, Motueka, on 'Wednesday evening. The combination is one of the best, that has toured the colony for many years ; wherever they have appeared crowded houses have testified their appreciation of the entertainments—wholesome and free from vulgarity—and nothing but praise lias been bestowed upon them. They have have recently been appearing in the Wellington and Taranaki districts, where they have been doing phenomenally successful business. The ever popular companp is headed by the silver tenor Mr K. Cornwall, late of the Opera Comique Theatre and St James’ Hall, London (the great metropolis of England and of the world). The N.Z. Times says :—A clever musical entertainment was given in the Opera House last night by the Cornwall Company, an organisation which includes in its ranks some excellent instrumental performers. The players gave a striking exhibition of their skill on stringed instruments.” The. Lyttelton Times, Christchurch, says : —The entertainment was certainly one of the most varied and enjoyable ever given in Christchurch, and the audience vvas exacting in the matter of encores.” , The Napier Tetegraph says : “ The programme served tp establish a high musical reputation for the members of the organisation, and enabled them to create a highly favorable impression on the amusement lovers of Napier.” The Hawbay Herald says :—“ A humorous quartette was encored, and the vocalists succeeded in hitting the taste of the audience so well that they were recalled rio less than four times.” The Wanganui Chronicle says : “ We have heard other bellringers, and we do them no discredit when we say that the C-ornwalls are second to none.” With such highly favorable credentials the public of Motueka and neighboring districts can de-

pend upon getting a capital evenings’ enjoyment.
