The following is a list of the. entries for the above show, received on Saturday night bv the Secretary, Mr Thomas Hume. It is possible the list may be slightly added to by the receipt of entrie> from outside healing date stamp of the 4t.h instant :
During a short discussion at the last meeting of the Riwaka Road Board, it was mentioned that the Waimea County, Council forwarded them the sum of twenty five shillings as their share of the sum voted by the Council towards the. destruction of small birds. Mr Drummond remarked that as the council took two thirds of the rate levied, he thought they ought to help them to the extent of at least £5.
NeLon raspberries are advertised for sale in Westport at 7s 6d per case.
