NOTICE TO NATIVE CORRESPONDENTS.
In order that the public business may be facilitated, it has been deter-
mined that the Natives shall correspond with the Civil Commissioner, in all Districts where the new system of Sir . George Grey is established; the Officer in. question can then reply to letters not deeuied of. sufficient importance to be Forwarded to Auckland. ; We consider that this is a most judicious arrangement, and that it he adbptpd by the Native people; for the observance of this simple rule will relieve the Native Office from too onerous 1 duties, Expedite answers to Madri coiiimunications of a trivial character, and •promote unity in the organised Districts. I
