DEATH OF AMIRIA TE RUATAHORA, OF OTAKI.
Amiria Te Ruatahora Tungia died at Otaki, March 25th, 1862, on which occasion three hundred of the Ngatiratoa, the Ngatiawa, and the Ngatiraukawa assembled te weep over her remains, in accordance with Native custom. We are told thai the departed one was a Christian woman, meekly following her Saviour, and that her end, like that of all who love Jesus, was peace*
