We beg to direct the attention of our readers to an unlucky misplacement of matter in our last number. Between the letter of Waka Nene and the comments which that unfortunate letter naturally elicited, a letter fiom Mr. Ligaij Suveyor General, upon a very different topic, was accidentally placed. We take this opportunity to state that the letter of Waka Nene and that of Mr. Ligarhave no connection with each other ; the latter being, as it states, a mere intimation tt> those natives about to sell their lands of the time and place appointed by Mr. Ligar to meet them.
