The Garden.—Plant a full crop of savoys for winter and autumn use; transplant leeks; sow more turnips; hoe and thin the crop of beet-root of both kinds; gather mint and other pot herbs ; mark some of the lest heads of cauliflowers for seeds j sow small sal&ding every neck; plant cclciy into trenches ; may sliil sow spinach of the round-leaved kind; «ater every ii.urning before sunrise, ill dry weather, all seed beds and newly-planted articles. Continue to sow crops to come in iiftHi those sown last mouth; prune and train the summer shoots of all descriptions of fruit trees. Look for slugs and grubs and dtstroy them ; immediately after a shower is the best time to find them. lloe and chop up weeds in every direction. Vlower Garden. —Pay strict attention now to the flowers that were sown in patches in the borders, and where they are 100 thick, thin them to about four or five; cut out all struggling shoots, and keep the borders regularly hoed and ruked. During this and the preceding month allow 110 weeds to seed; one plant destinyed now, will be the means of saving much labour next month. The I'ikld. —ISarlh up potatoes and clear thi'iu of weeds.
