The Garden. —Take up beetroots, carrots, parsnips, &c.; sow, in a warm border a first crop of early frame peas. and also a crop of dwarf growing magazon beans; continue to p'nnt cabbage plants for cabbaging and cole worts; tie tip endive nnd lettuce; clean the beds of winter and spring onions; plant potatoc onions; make hot beds, nntl commence forcing early asparagus; sow a small crop of carrots for early use ; dress the l>eds ol rhubarb, mtiehokes, and nsparngus—to tlie latter apply salt if attainable ; (.over up the scakalc to blanch. This is the best season for planting out fiuit trees; sow at this time seeds and nuts ol plum, cherry, almond, medlar, apple, pear, quince, walnuts, &c.; sow mdish> mustard. cress, and spinach ; strike geraniums, China roses Sic., IVom cuttings; part herbaceous plants; finish planting Cape bulbs; take up dahlia roots and keep them in dry sand ; dig the ground ; make new plantations; plant thorns for hedgerows ; ami prune and trim those growing The I'jKtn.—Sow wheat, Cape Ii uley, English Barley, and spring turnips; clear out the water furrows; sow grass seeds.
