(ill,.—'To wasli the floors, when directed to do so by the Surgeon, nnd 10 brush and dryrub them regularly every morning. 7th.—To ventilate the rooms only under orders of the Surgeon, who will direct this according to tin; state of the weather, or the disnases of the Patient;; bth,—female Attendants, when not otherwise engaged, to mend the Hospital bedding, towels, &e., &c. filli.—The Attendants are never to allow persons into the Hospital to see Patients, unless under the express sanction of the burgeon, and never to permit Patients to absent themselves from the immediate Hospital gorumls, without the authority of the Surgeon. 10th. —The Attendants are to be obedient to the Surgeon in all things, and to endeavour to eirry out his recommendations and instructions to the utmost of their power. 11 til .—No Attendant will ever be allowed to strike oe use harsh language to Patients, but must avoid by all possiblo means irritating or annoying them in any way ; it is plainly their duty to listen patiently nnd kindly to i nny cuisc of dissatisfaction which may be slated to theni, and to enquire into and endeavour to remove it.
