(3th. —To wash the floors, wli'-n directed to do so by the Surgeon, and to biusli and dryrub them regularly every morning. 7th.—-To ventilate the roumß only under orders of the Surgeon, who will direct this according to the state of the wauther, or the disoascs of the Patients; Bth.—Female Attendants, when not otherwise engaged, to mend the Uosgiial bedding, towels, &e., &e. 9th.—The Attendants are never to allow persons into the Hospital to see Patients, unless under the express sanction of the Surgeon, and never to permit Patients to absent themselves from the immediate Hospital jorunds, without the authority of the Su:geon. 10th.—The Attendants are to be o'ledirnt to the Surgeon in all things, and to endeavour to carry out his recommendations and instructions to the utmost of their power. 11th.—No Attendant will ever b» nllowe'l to strike oe u«e harsh language to Patient*, but must avoid by all possible inc.-ins irfi'iiting or annoying them in any way; it is plainly their duty to listen patiently and kindly to any cause of dissatisfaction which may he stated to them, and to enquire into and ci.deuvour to remove it.
