Military Service.

Wellington, September 1. - Orders have been issued for the C2 re-examination board to commence its duties with men who have been classed by the district medical boards as unfit for active service, but fit for service of some nature in New Zealand. The board is expected to commence its work on Monday. Notifications have been issued for the concentration of the C2 men who are likely to become fit for active service after special training, and in future all men classified as C2 by the district medical boards will be forwarded to the special training camp, which will be a subdivision of Featherston camp. At this camp all the men will be treated and classed alike, and the first draft, which will number about 500, is expected to arrive there towards the end of September.
