Otago Land Board.
The Otago Land Board was occupied during the greater part of Wednesday in examining affidavits for land in th« subdivision of the Downs Block of Hawkdun Station. A ballot was held subsequently, with toe following result:—
Section 37, block 11, St. Bathans, 297 acrea. Eleven applicants—Mrs Sabina Nicolson (St. Bathans). Section 38. block 11, St. Bathans, 274 acres. Eighteen applicants— Alfred Excell (a soldier on active service from St. Bathans.
Section 39, block 11. St. Bathans, 308 acrea. Nine applicants—-Thomas Edward Morgan (a soldier on active service from St. Bi thans). Section 40, block 11, St. Bathans, 221 acres. No applicants—P. M'Gregor (Cambrian).
' Section 41, block 11, St. Bathans, 196 acres. Thirteen applicants—Albert William Mbrgfan (a soldier on active.service from Cambrian). Section 42, blo«k 11, St. Bathans, 337 acres. Fifteen applicants—Robert Swinney {& soldier on active service from' Cambrian).
Section 43, block 11, St. Bathans, 195 acres. Nineteen applicants - Josoph M'Devitt (St. Bathans). Section 44, block 11, St Bathans, 16iJ acres. Tan applicants—Martin J. Cormick (a soldier on active service from St. Bathans).
Section 45, block 11, St. Bathans,440 acres. Fifteen applicants— Joseph Wheeler (a soldier on active service from St. Bathans).
Sections 46 and 51, St. Bathans, 186 acres. Ten applicants—William Hanger (a soldier on active service from St. Bathans). Section 47, block 11, St. Bathans, 193 acres.- Nineteen applicants— James Hanger (a soldier on active service from St. Bathans)
Section 48, block 11, St. Bathans, 154 acres. Four applicants John Samuel Webb, (a soldier on active service from St. 'Bathans). Section 13. block VIII, Blackstone, 480 acres. Fifteen applicants Thomas Esmond Enright. (a soldier on active service from St. Bathans).
Section 14, block VIII, Blackstone, 519 acres. Nineteen applicantsJohn Dillon Enright (a soldier on active service from St. Bathans).
