{From our Exchanges.) Bombay, August 11th. The left vriag cf M«liemet Ali is marching towards Sulieraah Paelia, whose cavalry is beyond the Balkans. The Russians have evacuated Kustenji.
General Melikoff has been reinforced, and has resumed' offensive operations. Muktar Paaha remains a* Kars on the defensive. Imali checks TergDukason. London, August 16th, Th? two armies have met near Plevna. A great battle has been going on for some houra and still continues, but the principle positions are unchanged. A quarter of a million of Russians are now across the Danube.
Bombay, August 19th. Sulieman Pasha is at Elena, north of the Balkans. Salonica is in a state of Beige. Poti in Asia is deserted. Hobart Pasha is at Sinope. Turkey is increasing her army. Bombay, August 20th. In skirmishes in the vicinity of Rustchuk, the Turkish official despatch states that a detachment from the garrison repulsed the Russians. The Russians are advancing against the Turkish force near the Dobrudscha.
