ADJOURNED MEETING.
THIS AFTERNOON (THURSDAY). The following is the report agreed to, to be submitted to the public meeting to-night:— Your Committee have to report that, while thoy have not been ablo to.obtain data as to the Outram lino, yet that the presence of the Oamaru deputation in Naseby has induced them to ask for more definite instructions from tho public, in meeting assembled. Your Committee arc very favorably impressed with tho views expressed by the Oamaru deputation, and considers some very good reason should be shown why the public should not promise to give to tho Waitaki Committee its most hearty support and co-operation. Your Committee consider that tho Oamaru Committee is now entitled to a definite expression of opinion with regard to its project.
