POSTAL HOURS.

(To the Editor oj the Mount Ida Chromiclb.) Sin, —Is there any reason why the mails Bhould not close in Naseby on Mondays and Fridays an hour or an hour and a half later than they now do ? The coach is, I believe, nominally due at 2 p.m., but I am sure that it never has arrived at that hour since it first began to run, and for many months past it has never reached here before' 4 p.m. Nor is there any need that it should. All that is required is to make Pigroot at a decent hour, and that is easily accomplished by leaving at 4.30. I hope that, if there are no serious obstacles in tho way, the hours of closing tho mail may be altered to 2.30 or 3 p.m., as it would much convenience the public. —I am, &c, Enquibeb.
