BARLOW'S CIRCUS.
Barlow's circus opened at Naseby on Thursday evening to an overflowing house. Such a turn-out was entirely unexpected, many in spite of the roominess of the tent, having to stand. The performance was of an excellent description, the ponie3 and dogs alone being worth all the money. But ponies, and dogs were not all that was good, th» strength of the entertainment perhaps being centred in the performances of Young Bene! and Miss Selina. The ring riding was of the usual description, and fully up to average performances. The audience were kept in s thorough state of enjoyment from beginning to end, the steeplechase of dogs and monkeys being most demonstratively received. Th* company propose travelling up-country, visiting localities which have never yet had an opportunity of being visited by a "full-blown circus. It is satisfactory, as the enterprise in travelling such a large troupe through the country is considerable, that the support given at Nasebj has been so good. We can, with good conscience, recommend everyone to go and see the circus. The company"this afternoon give a special mid-day performance for children, at reduced rates, and in the ovening they make their final appearance be« fore a Naseby audience. On Monday they play at Blackstone Hill, and on Tuesday at St. Bathans.
