This item will not, of course, appear again. On|the other hand, the Manuherikia ibridge on the main Dunstan road is one of throe in the whole Province which the Provincial Engineer in his last report points out is still much wanted. • The Lower Taieri ■ bridge is equally as important a work. The County is now responsible in part for the Taieri bridge, and altogether for the Manuherikia. The tipper bridge over the latter river, and footbridges over the Kyebura river, are also direct legacies to the.County Council. '
