No person will be allowed to enter a horse for any race in this programme—hack and hospital races excepted—unless the same is the bona fide property of a subscriber of not less than £1 Is. to the Race Fund. Jockey Costume: Any person riding, except in colors entered, will be fined £l. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount of all stakes for expenses. IIIIEI M'CULLOU G-H, STOREKEEPER, CAMBRIAN. PUBLIC NOTIFICATION, Setting apart lands in the Rock and Pillar District, Provincial District of Otago, for occupation on Deferred Payments. WHEREAS, by the 47th Section of the Act of the General Assembly, of New Zealand, intituled "The Otago Waste Lands Act, 1872,'' the 7th Section of "The Otago Waste Lands Administration Act, 1874," and the Bth and 59th Sections of " The Waste Lands Administration Act, 1576," it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Waste Lands Board, with the approval of the Governor, to set apart in anv part of the district or blocks, land within which licenses to occupy land and leases thereof on deferred payments may be granted, either exclusively or within which lands shall be open for license or lease on deferred payments or for sale on immediate payments, Now, therefore, the Waste Lands Board of the Provincial District of Otago, under and by virtue of the powers conferred upon it by the said recited Acts and of every other power enabling them in that behalf, does here by, with the approval of his Excellency the Governor, set apart Sections numbered 6, B,' and 9, Block VI., Sections 27, 28, 29, and 30, Block VII., and Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, andS, Block X., in the Rock and Pillar District, for occupation on Deferred Payments as aforesaid, and fix Tuesday, the sth day of December, 1876, as the date on which the said Sections will be open for application for license on Deferred Payments, as provided by "The Otago Waste Lands Act 1872."
