Th* Directors of the Mount Ida Pastoral Investment Comp-iny, Limited, encouraged by the success that has attended the operation* of the Company on the Ewebtirn Run, liave thought v advisable to ex end its busi ess by the purchase of the Rugged Ridges Station, which they have succeeded in effecting on very •idvantageous terms. In vi«Hv of this ex-enaion of business it h«s been thought advisable, and the Company hns decided, to increase the nominal capital to £40,000. by the creation of 1500 additional shares of £io each. Of th.se 1000 only will now be placed in the market, ihe rem indir being' kept iu reserve, in case another opportu mty should oceurof a'vanlageous'y extending the sphere of the Company's bushes?. The Companv was originally started with a nominal capital' of £25,000, of whi-h £21,070 has been vaid up. There nre 393 original shares still unissued, and it is considered ;hnt these, with 1000 shares of the new iseue, will be amply sufficient, to place the Company in a position to carry on the two Stations in an indepe.ndent maimer, and give a very handsome profit to investors. The character of the country of the Rueged Ridges Station is well known as most favorable to sheep, and the price at which the purchase hss been made is such as to ensure a good return, even at present prices of wool, while the fact that the two Stations can be worked as one gives a guarantee for economy in management. It is confidently expected that a considerable nuinber of the shares now opened for allotment, will he t.iken up by the present shareholders, who may desire, to increase their interest, in the Company ; and, in case the applications should exceed the number of shares availably for allotment, a preference will be •iiven to pre-ent shareholders, in proportion to the number of shares already held by them. In.order to place old and new shareholders on an equal footing, it is proposed that, as regard* Rugged Ridges Station, the holders of new shares shall participate in all the profits from the date of purchase, viz., Ist August, 1876; and, as regards the Eweburn and Eden Creek Runs, from the date t.f allocation t-f shares, in propjrtinn to tbeamoint paid up on the 3rd March, being the end of the Company's fiminciiil year. Applications for shares mu«tbe made in the form annexed, and forwarded to the Secretary Mount Ida Pastoral investment Company. Limited, not later than Monday, November 27th, 1876, together with a deposit of £1 per share -£1 pr share to be pavable on allotment, mid the remainder bvijoallfjof £1 per •hare at intervals of one month, viz., on January I, Febru-iry 1, March 1, April 1, May I, Jiinel, Julyl, August. 1, 1877. Interest, at the rate of eight per cent per annum, will be charged on calls in arrear, Hnd six per cent. will be allowed upon calls paid in advance. Form of Appli at ion for Shares. Date 1876.
