GEORGE. , Th« Director* of the Mount Ida Pastoral Invetvtment Company, Limited, enconragod by "the success that liaa attended tho operations of the Company on the Eweburn Ran, have thought it advisable to expend its business by the purchase of tho Rugged Ridges Station, •which they have succeeded in effecting on very advantageous terms. In view of this extension of business it his been thought advisable, and the Company has decided, to increase the nominal capital to £40,000, bv the cretvtion of 1500 additional sharps of £lO each. Of th-ae 1000 only will now be placed in the market, the remainder being kept in reserve, in case another opportunity should occur of advantageously extending the sphere of the Company's business. Tho Company was originally started with a nominal capital'of £25,000, of which £21,070 has been paid uj>. There are 893 original f.harps still unissued, and it i» considered that these, with 100'* shares of tho now issue, will be amply suflieient to place the Company in a position to carry on the two Stations in an independent manner, and give a very handsome profit to invostors. The character of the country of the Rtiggcd Bidges Station is well known as most favorable to sheep, and the price at which the purchase has been made is such as to ensure a good return, even ut present prices of wool, while the '-ict that the two Stations can be worked as one gives a guarantee for economy in management.. ■lt is confidently expected that a considerable number of the shares now opened for allotment will be taken up by the present shareholders, who may desire to increase their interest in the Company; arid, in case tho applications should exceed tho rnmber of shares available for allotment, a preference will be given to present shareholders, in proportion to the number of share* already held by •them.
