This case was a claim made for the maintenance of the defendant's children. It appeared that the defendant had been in receipt of good wages, yet had consistently failed to provide for his children, who, upon the death af their mother, had been taken care of by his wife. Defendant pleaded not indebted. After the case was commenced the complainant's wife came, and proved that Densen had not paid for the children's support. Judgment for amount claimed, and costs £1 12s. Police v. G-. B. C. Pultney.—Drunk and disorderly. Discharged.
