("From our own corresp6nd:-iit. j Dunediri, Thursday Evening. A fire broke out yesterday morning at Curreigh's, Blue Spur. Not much, damage was done, and the loss is covered by insurance in the Norwich Office. Another fire broke out at twelve o'clock last night in the shop of J. M. Clarke, baker, Ross Place,. Lawrence. Two boys named Hart and tleard, who were sleeping 'on the premises,: were burnt to death. Damage done to property very small. The' brigade, under Captain Hills, worked well, and checked the progress of the fire,. although' they could not save the boys. The fire is' supposed to have been caused by the boys reading in bed, as it originated in their sleeping apartment. At the first alarm it was not known that they-were on-the premises, and it was not until the fire was almost extinguished that the firemen were informed of it. They at .once directed their efforts to obtaining admission to the room, and after some trouble succeeded, when both lads were found dead, and half-roasted: The bodies we;e removed by the police to the.
