''Messrs. Hortslet, Jackson, and Flynn wore unanimously elected members of the C3mniitteo, in tho place of those gentlemen who had been nominated at the last, meeting, but who had for different reasons declined to act.

Newmarch, that tho ground is also in close proximity to the Sludge Channel, and would, if sold, entirely prevent the' bringing in of water to work, the flat.below it,; those of Marshall and' Curiae, on the ground that their sale would prevent' the working of ground which, is commanded by a tail race ahead, constructed afc a heavy expense, and which passes through a portion of both these areas.;' to., that of "William Jacob the Committee-de-sire to offer no objection, provided, that, the right to purchase bo limited, to. the ground at present fenced in by him.
