Mr. Gordon: From the same Bible." No or, what I really did say was—"No; from the same." Meaning thereby the Bible not the Protestant version of the Bible. I know that, from the ambiguity of the phrase .uttered, I was. partly to blame. By inserting the above you will oblige.—£ am. &c., Bebnabd Gokdo*-."
