On Saturday (lOUi) he was, sentenced to one months' imprisonment in JMaseby gaol. Police.v. Thomas Power.—For breach of section 3, Byolaw YL, IS'asuby Corporation. Defendant, not appearing, was fined at the rate of 10s. each horse, arid Court costs ss. 6d.—for, eight horses, £4. Robert Glenn v. William Lamont Bailey.—Action to give up possession, of premises to landlord situated in Earn-street. Judgment confessed, to lake effect on October 15 —defendant to pay ss. costs, of Court, Octobeb 15th. (Before H. W. Robin-on, Esq., R M., and L. W. Buscb, Esq, J.P; Inspector of Nuisances v. : Hubert Mayne.—lnformation was for neglecting to remove, an obstruction from a public street within the town of Naseby. It appeared that defendant had not himself killed the sheep, but it had been done by his servants, and with his knowledge. Case dismissed, with ss. 6d. costs of Court —the Court holding that, the information being laid under a penal section, the section must be construed strictly. Same v. Alexander M'Hardy.—For allowing three horses to wander in the public street. Defendant fined ss. for each horse, and ss. 6d. costs.
