WARDEN'S COURT.

September 18

(Before H. A. Stratford, Esq., Warden.)

John Hardacre v. Peter Meinert, Terence Sharkey, and PrederickKing.—Ap-. plication ' for dissolution of partnership. The property in question was at the Kyeburn Diggings, . and _ dissolution was prayed for, owing to" quarrels between the parties. The curious point in this case was the defence. Meinert and. King were willing .to dissolve partnership, if they were partners, which they said they were not, but claimed a sole right to two claims included in the alleged partnership. After a protracted hearing, the Warden gave judgment, granting dissolution of partnership, by consent of both parties—each party paying their own witnesses', and Court costs divided! No or-. der was made.in reference to the.contradictory evidence as to ownership of the claims or ground in dispute, that being, the Court held, a matter not within thV complaint. The application of Messrs. Eollands and Cargill for an agricultural lease of 548 acres, on run 255,. came oh for hearing, the survey being completed! The Surveyor's report being favorable, and no objections having been lodged, the- Warden granted the application—certificate to issue on payment of first half year's rent. Mr. Itowlatt for the applicants.
