Smith was ; granted> three acres. William Gay's application was adjourned to the 30th September. Tail races. —-George H. Smith, granted ; Peter Tier nan, granted. An objection by the United M. and E. Company, because Thomas Hanrahan's name appeared, was held good,, _and Hanrahan's name struck, out,;by consent of Peter „Tiernan. _ John Thurlow renewed his water race license, No. 134. <
Samuel Turner executed his mining lease, 178 c. Johann and others, 179 c. , Agricultural leases executed.—3l7c, by Louisa Beck ; 3ißc, by Jaines Millward. Mr. John Ewing a, code of main tail race rules for the Warden's approval. Mr. Michael Fahey presented another code, in opposition. The Warden ruled that, the latter was .the correct one, as there were more signatures of persons entitled, to vote attached to it;
