It is stated that the following lands have been selected, and will shortly be thrown open under the deferred payment system : —A block on Tolmie's and Conical hills station, 5,000 acres ; a block on M'Nab's 5,000 acres ; and a block oh M'&ehzie's and Logan's of 3,000 acres. Miking Machine.—We saw yesterday at Mr. Adair's a new and improved milking machine. It is exceedingly simple, consisting'of four small gutta-percha tubes conjoined at one end, and having at the other perforated silver points.
