NAS-EBT COURT HOUSE. Mr. Mervyn asked—Whether it is the intention of the Government to appropriate a portion of the proposed loan for public buildings for the purpose of erecting a court house at Naseby ? His object in putting the question was to bring under the notice of the Government the exceeding, desirability of erecting some decent place at Naseby in which to conduct
public business.. Thejpresent court house, or rather the building used as such, measured about*'twelve feet by twe'htyf and in that place all the business of the District Court, the Resident,. Magistrate's Court, the Clerk of = the Court,Vand the Bailiff, was conducted. He had brought this matter under the consideration of the Colonial; Secretary repeatedly, but, owing to the want of funds, hbtliing had been done.
