TELEGRAPH EXTENSION.

Let Macandrew know. Hazlett, M.P.C., telegraphs privately to Turn-' bull. Pyke here, has seen your telegram.

The Mayor of Naseby consequently sent the following telegrams : Mayor, Naseby, to R. Oliver, Esq., M.P.C.: _ Mount Ida and Clyde anxious that you should press Provincial Executive to guarantee interest on outlay for telegraph extension. Macandrew telegraphed me General Government likely to construct on such terms.

Corporation, Naseby, to Macandrew, M. H. R., Wellington*: Clyde and Mount Ida urging Provincial Executive fulfill their promise given in Council, to advocate by all means telegraph extension. No risk to Province guaranteeing interest. Indebted to you for exertion.
