Hesident Magistrate's Court. (Before H. W. Eobinson, Esq., E.M., ahcl Joseph Preston, Esq., J.P.) H. M'jSL Campbell, Sheep Inspector v. James Grant.—lnformation under the Sheep Ordinance, that Ihe defendant had driven a mob of sheep (about 400 C in 1111111 ber) through the run of the Hon. Dr. JBlichanan, and had refused to produce he proper certificate. The Inspector said that, with the permission of the Bench, lie would withdraw the case, if the defendant would pay the expenses that had been incurred. The penalty could not be less than £IOO, and as there were mil.iga.tuig circumstances, he should be sorry to press for so heavy a penalty. Complaiut withdrawn, defendant paying costs ol Court, £2 lis. 6d., and expenses £Q 13s. Dyke v. Bisset.—Debt £7 2s. 6d. No appearance of defendant. Judgment for amount claimed, with 13s. costs, and 10s. expenses. Warden's Court. (.before H. W. .Robinson, Esq., Warden.) Grants.—Joseph Ho re, extended • claim • B. Barron, extended claim ; Treby and .Barron, extension of -kulrace ; D. Tremewan, extended claim ; Stephens nod others, tail race. Withdrawn.—J. Herlihey aud others, extended claim.
